A beautifully (and unusually) heavily waxed solid, primitive stool/rest. Made from dense, heavy burr wood. C. 1850
Four legs, one of them with a cheeky side kick, which adds to the charm. Steady on it's feet, there is no wobble on a straight floor. The delicious open grain of the seat is reminiscent of a Sunday joint.
