Finally. We opened the doors.
Blessed by some pristine Autumn sun. A huge thank you to the people who came by.
Equally big thanks to the locals and other shopkeepers for amazing support and overwhelming goodwill.
A learning curve for sure. But a fantastic opening. They came, they browsed, they bought and they said the nicest things about our shop. We already have ideas to evolve UnSet Element.
Conversation with customers is invaluable inspiration. It definitely deepened our belief that places and people need physical shops and the social rites that go with them.
Keep coming. Keep talking to us. Keep telling your friends. So simple it can't really be classed as a strategy. Thankfully we try not to be directed by strategy.
Into our favourite season. Beguiling light, clothes layered, food warmer and fires laid and lit. Woodsmoke and wool. Frost into snow. Happy hibernation.
Some beautiful things arriving everyday. We try not to get too attached to them. Your happiness is our happiness. All of that.
